PARROT TULIP IN BLOOM

This painting is called Parrot Tulip. In my garden I have a variety of tulips that grow in the Spring. This one was especially captivating and I just had to paint it's personality! It is expresses a joyful positive feeling with regard to the arrival of Spring, creating hopeful thoughts for the future, and expectation of good things to come to life. This is a painting that you may hang in any room and complement any space. This painting is 24" x 24" and was painted in acrylic. It has many glazes and layers of paint with a permanent acrylic varnish to protect the surface.
