Stone and fibre

Each stone is selected from the beaches of Lake Huron where it has been naturally smoothed for centuries. It is cleaned and prepared and then wrapped in cords that bring together the intricacies of Japanese mizuhiki and the gratitude of Japanese tsutsumu. Each wrapping is a gentle consideration of a concept and allows us a moment to appreciate the beauty hidden in ordinary things. An opportunity to be grateful. Each stone and its wrap are unique.
