Suburban Winter

This painting captures the quiet essence of a Canadian suburban winter morning—a peaceful moment before the day begins, when the streets are still, the world is hushed, and the neighborhood has yet to awaken.

Working from dark to light, I carefully blended each layer of pastel using only my fingertips, creating a luminous depth.
