A Surprise Package
I grew some amazing magenta climbing clematis this summer. I watched them bloom in three stages and this seemed to be the 2nd stage in the growing process. I had to wonder what was inside this package that looked like a delicious dumpling. It was a beautiful opportunity to paint it in watercolour and wait patiently for the next stage. The next stage will emerge in a new watercolour this month. The actual painting is about 8" x 10" on 140 lb watercolour paper, matted and framed.
