Gaza 2023-1

This is a contemporary miniature painting on wasli handmade paper. This is the last painting in the series of four. There is an inner oval shape containing a white Si-Murgh image flying over fire and smoke. The Si-Murgh tail is covered in poppy flowers. The oval image has red, white, and yellow colours. The oval is surrounded by another shape with blue sky and red clouds. The outer shape, painted in purple has trees, mountains, flowers, and grass patches. There are Quranic words showing the children' words of worship and their translation written beneath the painted composition.
