Holey Vessel

This experimental double walled piece was constructed over a dumbbell shaped resist with 2 shades of green Merino and some reclaimed silk fabric. Once the felting process was complete the nuno-felted half was inserted in the plain wool half and random openings were cut before fulling and shaping were completed. The final stitched embellishment was completed with red Irish linen.
