This fibre collage was inspired by some fascinating orange lichen I saw on a charcoal grey rock, in Tobermory, ON. It was created using snippets of fabric and yarn, arranged, then covered with fine netting, then machine stitched over that. That process was then repeated a few times. This piece measures 17" x 13".
