Sverdrup - Manitoulin Island

This is framed 12"x 15" watercolour landscape of a geological feature called a "Sverdrup". When it rains on Manitoulin Island, the runoff water from the forest creates a stream and a series of little waterfalls that eventually flow into Lake Huron. It also provides a lovely habitat for toads, minnows and crayfish.
