Welcome Home! But Close Your Eyes

This is a mixed media miniature painting. In the centre are images painted on handmade wasli paper. There is an image of a monkey sitting on a globe . He has his eyes covered by his hands (inspiration taken from the Three Monkeys, and image of the globe inspired from a Mughal miniature). He is sitting in a beautiful landscape. The outside has images on brown wrapping paper., drawn with archival ink pens. The scenes of sorrow and destruction surround the wasli image. A poem is written on the lower border.
