Wild

This piece is pastel on sanded board, with both a pastel ground underpainting and then a contrasting monochromatic second layer of alcohol washed pastel. I am inspired daily by the beauty in the every day...these lush weeds growing in the ditch calling the viewer to jump in are yet another example of the fabulous colour all around us.
