N. Leonard Segall

Leonard is interested in photography as an art form. He believes that the photographer uses the camera to capture an image from the world around us – creating a print that he hopes will stand on its own for its evocation of feeling. Leonard has attended seminars by many prominent Canadian photographers and week long André Gallant/Freeman Patterson Photography Workshops in New Brunswick. Leonard exhibited photographs in the Gallery Lambton LOOK Show in 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2007 and 2010. He has also exhibited in solo shows at the Gallery in the Grove in 2005 and 2010 and the Victoria Playhouse in Petrolia in 2018.

Leonard lives in Sarnia, Ontario, where he is an active organizer in the arts community: he is on the board of directors of The Lawrence House Centre for the Arts and is on the executive of the Sarnia Photographic Club.
