Captured Memories

Captured Memories is about the net - embroidered and crocheted together and to the wooden curved hanger. There are five panels on canvas, all initiated with the black wool circles, then hand embroidered around with variegated embroidery floss in the shape of net, some broken. Each square has strips of fabric to pick up the colours in the floss and also with script printed fabric to add interest. The five squares are attached together by crocheting with the same embroidery floss.
