Nadine Riley, Sarnia’s new and emerging artist has recently re-discovered her artistic talents. Inspired by nature and her Native heritage she produces artwork that offers some insight into the unique culture, traditions and language of First Nation People. Overcoming early hardships, this single mom relocated to Sarnia, Ontario in 2007 and enrolled into college. As opportunities arose, she became an active member of the Sarnia-Lambton community. She is a co-founding Board Member of the Sarnia-Lambton Native Friendship Centre, former volunteer bookkeeper for the Inn of the Good Sheppard, a Provincial and International champion BCA and VNEA sanctioned billiard player and eventually Lambton College Alumna and employee. Developing entrepreneur and active member of the Lawrence House Art Gallery, her originals, prints and greeting cards are available or can be viewed at the gallery, at various gift shops and vendor shows throughout Southern Ontario or on her facebook page, Naytive Art.
