Silvya Mazerolle

Sarnia based artist, Silvya Mazerolle, has been honing her skills on the canvas for the past several years. Primarily using acrylics, her mental images and stories have been transferred into her paintings. Art, inspired by the scenery of Southwestern Ontario and Lake Huron is gracing the walls of many local residents and cottages. Having also lived in Alberta and travelled through different parts of the world, scenes from mountains, prairies, cities and oceans have animated her paintings. Strange ideas of her own, friends comments and commissions have led to paintings based on Heavy Metal, biking experiences, barbarians, laughing donkeys, strutting roosters, angry herons, plus many more. She loves to capture her viewers into the scene, whether it is compelling or odd. A Facebook album of past works can be made available upon request.
