Julia Potts

At the age of eight, Julia received a brownie camera to bring to girl guide camp. Instead of taking pictures of people, she was intrigued with setting up vignettes in nature.
Recently, she took some time out from life and went on a year long journey enjoying whatever adventures the Universe put in her path.
A solo trip camping & hiking across Canada, taking care of an alpaca farm in Wales, all helped her reconnect with photography.
It was during this time that the photos took on a creative spin. Having the time to edit and play around on her iPad lead to discovering filters & photo apps. After many experiments, Julia found a consistent pattern by layering several methods.
The end result of Julia’s photography style took on a more whimsical feel.
