Sarnia based artist, Silvya Mazerolle, has been honing her skills on the canvas for the past several years. Primarily using acrylics, her mental images and stories have been transferred into her paintings. Art, inspired by the scenery of Southwestern Ontario and Lake Huron is gracing the walls of many local residents and cottages. Having also lived in Alberta and travelled through different parts of the world, scenes from mountains, prairies, cities and oceans have animated her paintings. Nadine Riley

Nadine Riley, Sarnia’s new and emerging artist has recently re-discovered her artistic talents. Inspired by nature and her Native heritage she produces artwork that offers some insight into the unique culture, traditions and language of First Nation People. Overcoming early hardships, this single mom relocated to Sarnia, Ontario in 2007 and enrolled into college. As opportunities arose, she became an active member of the Sarnia-Lambton community. Pierre is a long time amateur photographer who loves capturing nature in all its forms. He uses his camera as a meditation device as he discovers new and fascinating things to photograph, whether they are sunsets or eagles. He is currently living in Sarnia. Sharon Ormerod

Sharon was born in, what was at the time considered to be a rural area outside of Hamilton Ontario. She has fond memories of spending most of her early years outside in the country side. A graduate of McMaster University Studio Arts she went on to teach art in Hamilton and surrounding schools. In her early years as a Canadian artist, she was influenced by Lawren Harris and the Group of Seven and Emily Carr.
