Joanne Morris

Joanne Morris became a professional artist when she attended the Ontario College of Art in Toronto in 1971. She completed her B.A. in Art History and Art Criticism and then a post-graduate in Art Therapy from the University of Western Ontario. After graduation, Joanne worked at the Sarnia Public Art Gallery and Gallery Lambton as the Education Officer and Gallery Assistant where she was influenced and inspired by the Permanent Collection of the Group of Seven paintings. Joanne has exhibited in a few Juried Shows in Lambton and Chatham Kent. Joanne's art can be found in numerous private collections in Ontario. As a retired and Registered Art Therapist and OCT, Joanne has inspired and motivated hundreds of young artists to express their thoughts and feelings through art. Joanne is now devoted to her painting and drawing in her studio in Wallaceburg.
